Hey there, gorgeous! Welcome to our little community.  I want to know all about you:

I am so appreciative and proud to say that I have been blessed with an amazing group of girlfriends. Most of whom have been in my life going on 20+ years.  And we talk about everything under the sun.  The good, the bad, the ugly.  But the reality is 90% of those conversations are mostly surface level. The latest skincare hack or diet trick.  Celebrity gossip.  An update on the kids, the partner, the job. The latest Netflix binge that "you must watch". (Bridgerton Season 3 anyone?).  And all of that is well and good. Needed even.  But I would venture a guess that those are not the things rolling around in our heads for the majority of the day.  And there are plenty more thoughts keeping us awake at night. 

Here's a little of my own experience and how Elly J came to be. Up until a few years ago, I considered myself fairly self-aware, with a good grasp on my strengths and weaknesses. And then I stumbled upon a book about the Enneagram - which is a fascinating and useful personality guide. I read the book, identified my dominant personality “type”, was reassured in what I thought I knew about myself... and moved on. 

But then the pandemic hit. Like many, I experienced profound changes during this time... and I began questioning aspects of my personality that I never had before.  Seeking answers led me to diving much deeper into the Enneagram,  but it took several books and plenty of online research before I truly grasped the fundamental concepts.  Upon reaching this understanding, I realized there would be value in a more comprehensive, yet approachable resource that integrates these concepts to facilitate a quicker and more profound comprehension and application of the Enneagram in my own life. Motivated by this, I decided to write such a book myself: "The Enneagram Evolution".  Now I’m eager to share my findings and insights with the world.

But it's more than just applying the learnings from the Enneagram into our daily lives.  It's about growing our spirit.  Evolving into our higher selves.  And it's about connection with others.  We all want MORE.  Our mores may differ slightly, but if I know anything, I know we are all more alike than we are different. So let's talk about it!  Let's support each other.  Let do more and be more.  Together.
